Keep your trip on track by letting us know where you're going
Because fraud has become so common, San Mateo Credit Union and most other financial institutions ask that you please give us a heads up if you'll be using your debit or credit cards outside of your usual area.
Avoid card declines and make your trip more fun
As always, when you travel your should notify us in one of the following ways:
- You can let us know about your travel plans through our Card Manager app. Select "Travel Notices" from the main menu.
- Log in to Online Banking at least two business days before you travel and go to the Secure Message Center. Send us a message that includes travel dates, destinations, what cards you'll be using, and a phone number or email address where you can be reached.
- Or, give us a call at (650) 363-1725 to provide this information to our Member Services Team. Our Contact Center hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. PST on Saturday.
- You can also stop in to your nearest branch and let us know your travel plans. Enjoy your trip!
- Traveling internationally? Look for these logos at ATMs to access cash. Note: Surcharges and exchange rates may apply. Use these ATM search tools to find a Plus/Visa ATM or Pulse ATM internationally.
