If travel plans are on your agenda, remember to keep the SMCU Concierge in the loop. This free service gives your accounts the greatest security while you’re on the road.
Because SMCU is diligently on the lookout for suspicious activity, there’s a chance we might decline an out-of-town transaction that isn’t normal activity for you. It’s how we keep you safe from fraud, which is number one on our priority list. By letting us know in advance that you’ll be traveling, you can be sure that your card services won’t be disrupted while you’re away from home.
To get started, simply follow these steps at least 24 hours before your departure:
Log onto SMCU OnLine
Send us an email via our secure message center with the following information:
Card(s) you’ll be using (ATM, debit, credit)
An email or phone contact where we can reach you while you’re away
If you prefer, you can provide these details via phone by calling (650) 363-1725 or (888) 363-1725, Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (PST) and Saturday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (PST).
You can also visit a branch to notify us in person. For locations and hours, click here.
Our best wishes for a wonderful trip!
